Roskomnadzor will be able to carry out unannounced inspections of Internet companies – NEWSru.com

In Roskomnadzor draft administrative regulations enforcement agency responsible for control over the activities of the organizers of the dissemination of information on the Internet. According to the newspaper “Izvestia” , on the basis of this document Roskomnadzor can check the Internet company, registered as organizers of the dissemination of information, and its intention to conduct an audit Roskomnadzor will have to inform the Internet company for 24 hours, and in some test cases will be held without prior notice.

Under the inspection agency can get email services, social networks, instant messengers and others. Checks will be interested, whether the services keep information about the facts of the reception, transmission, delivery of voice information, written text, images, sounds. Also, representatives of Roskomnadzor can access the list of registered users of the service.

In addition, when testing administration services should be free to grant access Roskomnadzor offices and databases. The maximum period of 30 test days, however, if necessary, management of the territorial body of Roskomnadzor will have the right to extend it for another 20 days. While in the process of verifying property audited company will suffer any damage, it will be able to demand compensation for losses.

According to the law the organizers of the dissemination of information are virtually any Internet companies operating in the network (all the social networks, email services, blogs, forums and other similar platforms). All they are required to register with the Roskomnadzor, and to provide user data to law enforcement agencies and special services.
