Archaeologists have discovered Wednesday in the center of Moscow near the demolished hotel “Russia” ancient streets, presumably the XII century.
“When the projected works on the” charge “of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow, realizing the importance of the area, pointed out that there needed archaeological research,” – said the source.
According to him, conducted excavations accelerate the pace of construction, but they do not slow down, as they were in the original plans.
Kondrashov added that archaeological research in the territory of the future park “charge” is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
