MOSCOW, Sep 20 – RIA Novosti. China successfully launched a new launch vehicle “Long March-6″ from Taiyuan in Shanxi province in the north, Xinhua news agency reported on Sunday.

Start was produced in 7.01 local time (2.01 MSK). It was the 210th launch of missiles family “Long March.” According to the agency, the carrier will deliver into orbit 20 microsatellites and will mainly be used to run them.

It is reported that this is the first Chinese carrier rocket, which runs on clean fuel – a mixture of kerosene and liquid oxygen. According to the Corporation of China Aerospace Science and Technology Gao Xinhui, a fuel also can significantly reduce the cost of rocket launch.

“Long March-6″ will strengthen the reputation of carrier rockets of China at the international level, says the designer of the Shanghai Academy of technology of space flight Zhang Weidong.
