MOSCOW, September 24 – RIA Novosti. military satellites, the launch of which with the help of rocket “Rokot” was held on Thursday night from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region, displayed on the calculated orbit, RIA Novosti reported the Press Service and Information of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The launch took place at 1.00 MSK under the leadership of Commander of the Space Forces Lieutenant-General Alexander Golovko. The launch and removal of spacecraft into orbit passed in a regular mode.

The launch vehicle of light class “Rokot” created on the basis of a release from service intercontinental ballistic missile RS-18 as part of the conversion program. The first launch of “Rokot” took place from Plesetsk in May 2000.
