The launch Sentinel-3A from Plesetsk may be postponed – Kommersant

Spacecraft Sentinel-3A is designed to solve the problems of oceanography and climate monitoring. Data from the satellite will be used for the topography of the oceans, monitoring the temperature of the surface of the sea and land, ocean and land color with high degree of accuracy and reliability, as well as for monitoring the environment and climate. The lead producer is French unit of the Franco-Italian group Thales Alenia Space (Cannes). The mass of the satellite – 1250 kg.
