Today, Russians observed a small parade of planets with Mars, Jupiter and Venus – Turkey Tourism News

On the morning of Sunday, October 18, the residents of the Northern Hemisphere, including the Russians were able to observe in the eastern morning sky the closest approach of Mars, Venus and Jupiter. The so-called small parade of planets will continue until the end of October, but the phase of maximum visual approach (in fact, the planet shares the enormous distances, and “hits” – no more than a projection), alas, has already passed.

According to the official website of the Moscow planetarium is now just three planets – Venus, Mars and Jupiter – are located in the constellation Leo. Therefore, a number of these planets completes star Regulus – one of the brightest in the sky. Morning of October 17 the world is much closer to each other, and the maximum convergence of Mars and Jupiter occurred at dawn on October 18.

At 5:50 Moscow time a planet closer to each other at a maximum distance – Mars was only half degrees north of Jupiter. Through binoculars you could see the moons of Jupiter: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Kakllisto Venusian crescent.

20 October parade of planets is officially over, but observers will continue to follow the complex relationships of the heavenly bodies. October 26, Mars and Jupiter will leave close to Venus. This convergence of the planets will be much brighter and more noticeable the past.

«The fact that Venus – the brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon. From the fact that it is so close to Earth, it seems larger than any star and Jupiter », – explained the deputy director of the Perm planetarium Catherine Pustozerova.
