The Director of the Institute of Space Research Leo Green announced the postponement of the launch of automatic interplanetary station “Luna-Glob” and “Moon orbital” from 2016 to 2018. Thus the Russian program for the development of the Moon carried on for two years.
This delay is related to the new federal program for the Russian Space Agency, according to which the lunar vehicles will be further refined, in particular will be reduced by the amount of equipment “Moon -25″, included in the project “Luna-Glob” to facilitate its lunar landing.
Leo Green noted that according to the Federal Space Program provided by Roscosmos, in this decade will be held three projects for the development of the Moon – “Moon 25″, “26 Moon” and “Moon 27»
