Insomnia is inherited, researchers found
The Virginia researchers of the Institute of Psychiatric Genetics, found that bessnnitsaa is a family disease, and hereditary, affecting the human psyche using maternal genes.
Experts conducted a large-scale study involving nearly 7,000 people. All respondents had a brother or sister of the twins. The study took place in two stages. The first step was to survey volunteers to find out what disorders they suffer. After a similar survey held twin subjects. In the second stage psychologists conducted genetic studies of all respondents.
The study revealed that insomnia is inherited, as it turned out, about 60% of women and about 40% of men have genetic disorders of sleep. It is noteworthy that most women suffer sleep disorders, insomnia transferring their children.
Scientists remind us that insomnia sleep problems are considered with which the person is facing at least three times a week. From this disease affects about one-third of the world’s population, and most of the female representatives make up.
