The telecommunications spacecraft “Ekspresss-AM8″ cleanly separated from the upper stage “DM-03″ on the target orbit and has been adopted by the management of the customer start – FSUE “Russian Satellite Communications”, the press service of the Russian Space Agency.
The satellite with the launch vehicle “Proton-M” and the upper stage “DM-03″ was launched from the launch complex of the platform 81 of Baikonur on September 14 at 22:00. The way to orbit took 6:00 37 minutes.
“Ekspresss-AM8″ is designed to provide television and radio broadcasting, data transmission and multimedia in the European part of Russia, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
