I went to the ISS last “Progress M-M” – BBC Russian

From the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch vehicle “Soyuz-U” with transport cargo vehicle “Progress M-29″. This is the final trigger for a series of “Progress M-M”.

Start took place on October 1 at 19:49 Moscow time. As reported by the Russian Space Agency, the space truck has already reached the intermediate orbit. After a few hours of “Progress” has to dock with the International Space Station (ISS).

“Progress” will deliver to the ISS fuel, air and equipment, as well as products for the crew: fruits, onion, garlic, mustard, ketchup juice, fruit puree, chocolate candies, peanuts, candy and crackers.

At present, the ISS are six astronauts: Russians Mikhail Kornienko Oleg Kononenko and Sergei Volkov, American Scott Kelly and Chell Lindgren and Kimia Japanese Yui.

This was the last start for the series of cargo ship “Progress M-M ‘. All subsequent launches will be carried out with the ships of the new series – “Progress MS.” The new ship analogue telemetry system is replaced by a digital and an upgraded trip computer installed. The closest such a ship must go into space on November 21.
