Michigan, United States, July 12, 2016, 10:01 – REGNUM American scientists from the University of Michigan have published new data showing the relationship of insufficient drinking water and weight loss. The authors believe their argument in favor of the fact that drinking water can help in the fight against obesity, according to EurekAlert website!
The authors analyzed data from 9528 participants in the cohort study Nutrition Examination Survey and found that a high body mass index associated with insufficient hydration of the body.
The authors stress that their results do not show a causal relationship between obesity and inadequate supply of water the body.
Scientists have long been advised to eat more fruits, vegetables and other foods with high water content, but stressed that further investigations are necessary to clarify the body supply mechanism of influence of water on weight reduction
