The Russian government approved the action plan, which expands the list of permitted drugs and psychotropic medications used to reduce pain. The order was published on the official website of the government.

It is noted that the adoption of the action plan will improve the accessibility and quality of care, implement modern approaches to getting rid of the pain and simplify the procedure of appointment permitted narcotic drugs.

According to the government, it will also help improve “legal regulation of activities related to the dissemination of information on the use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for medical purposes».
