Padalka set a record for the length of stay of man in orbit – Russian newspaper

Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka set a world record for the length of stay of man in orbit.

This achievement was recorded on September 12 ended when the next expedition to the ISS. After landing, the crew commander Gennady Padalka became an absolute record for the total stay in orbit. In five expeditions, he spent 878 days. The previous record belonged to Sergei Krikalev: by 11 October 2005, he has six starts “flown” 803 days.
