Apple intends to register the trademark “Apple” – REGNUM

Moscow, October 13, 2015, 16:00 – REGNUM US of Apple Inc. submitted an application to the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) to register the trademark “Apple”, “Vedomosti” referring to the documents of Rospatent.

Apple intends to consolidate the right to use the name “Apple” for five categories of goods and services, including computers, music players, e-books. In addition, the name “Apple” can get voting machines and X-ray machines.

Another direction, which can be applied to the name “Apple” – a paper of different thicknesses and destination (including cardboard), manuals programming and the use of computers as well as books devoted to the issues of education , entertainment, cultural activities.

Clarifies that the brand “Apple” can be extended to the scientific and technological services and research in the field of technology services.
