The agency NASA released a fresh self rover Curiosity, composed of dozens of images taken by the rover on the 1126 Martian day (Salt) work on the surface of Red Planet (6 October).

The photos were obtained by the Mars Hand Camera Lens Imager, mounted on a hand-manipulator rover.
In the photo Curiosity is depicted standing at the place called “Big Sky”, which was the fifth rock drilling rover since reaching the foot of Mount Sharp. Stone “Big Sky” is a sandstone.
gray rover drilled a hole diameter of 1.6 cm can be seen in the lower left corner of the image.
Now Curiosity is in an area called Stimson Unit, at the bottom of the slopes of Mount Sharp.
Presumably, Mount Sharp is a huge mound of sedimentary layers, the height of which is greater than 5 km.
