Students from Switzerland created the fastest electric car in the world – Mirror of the Week

The Swiss students have created the fastest electric in the world. According to the Engadget, the new development, called Grimsel, accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour for 1,513 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the previous holder of the record. For comparison, Bugatti Chiron capacity of 1480 hp from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.5 seconds.

The developers managed to achieve this result through the combination of a very powerful engine and the most lightweight car body, which weighs only 167 kilograms.
