The shortage of workers in the newly built East cosmodrome in the Amur region will be eliminated due to their transfer to facilities in other regions of Russia. This was reported on Sunday, March 15 RIA Novosti reported with reference to the deputy head of Russia Alexander Spetsstroy Mordovtsev.
«We solve the problem of a proven way – redeployment of our workforce here with other objects and regions: the Urals, from Krasnoyarsk Territory, Chita and Saratov, “- said Mordovets.
According to Deputy Spetsstroy, now together with Roscosmos addressed the issue of compensation for the construction of the watch towns for the workers and their food. For the construction of small towns themselves, as specified Mordovets, requires at least two months.
At the moment, according to Spetsstroy, at the launch site works about 10 thousand people. For completion within the specified period the government must draw another 15 thousand workers.
The construction of the cosmodrome East began in mid-2012. However, the construction of a new cosmodrome happens far behind, and its builders have repeatedly reported to postpone the planned delivery of objects. The first launch of the new site is planned for 2015, and in 2018 a new cosmodrome to begin manned flights.
