In Poznan at the age of 85 years died a German economist, Nobel Prize in Economics Reinhard Selten, according to The New York Times .

Selten worked as a teacher of the University of Bonn in 1984. He also founded the Bonn laboratory of experimental economics.

In addition, he is the only German, who won the Nobel Prize in economics. It was awarded to him for his contribution to the development of the theory of games along with Americans John Harsanyi and John Nash in 1994.
