Russia and the US in the fall may sign an agreement on the delivery of astronauts on the ISS – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, March 16 – RIA Novosti. The agreement on the delivery of the International Space Station (ISS), American astronauts in 2018 could be signed with NASA in the autumn of this year, said Monday in Roskosmos.

“The signing of the agreement on the delivery of astronauts to the ISS is scheduled for 2018 in the autumn of this year,” – said the space agency.

As noted Roskosmos previously signed a similar agreement in 2017.

Representatives of the Russian Federal Space Agency has repeatedly stressed the importance of international cooperation in space.

In particular, the Russian Space Agency noted that foreign partners appreciate the efforts of Russia in the field of manned space flight, and this suggests that “the prospects for the development of international space exploration is very good and require careful study”.
