Modules in Russian-European interplanetary station “ExoMars-2016″ successfully separated on the landing “Schiaparelli” and the space TGO and began to move to Mars.
this was reported in the European space Agency.
“Schiaparelli” will sit down on the Red planet on October 19. Its task is development of the technology of the controlled descent and landing on Mars.
Data on wind speed, temperature and pressure of the atmosphere will be used in the second part of the mission, with the Russian landing platform and the European Mars Rover, reports TASS.
the Orbital module TGO after reaching the desired orbit will study the atmosphere and the distribution of water ice under the planet’s surface.
