Scientists have learned how to get alcohol out of thin air.

Physics of the National laboratory of Oak ridge (Oak Ridge National Laboratory, ORNL) U.S. Department of energy has developed an electrochemical process that turns carbon dioxide CO2 into ethanol, that is ethyl alcohol.
